I'm suspending the blog and erasing all the entries because, frankly, I'm too busy writing fiction, living inside my head, exercising my imagination, running the creative marathon, getting it out onto paper, shaping it into lovely, provocative and keenly communicative forms such as short story, novel, and poem. Gosh, I hope I can ride the momentum. Wish me luck. I blow you kisses. Oh, if you missed it, I had written here on the blog about Miss Potter the movie, about chatting with Jack C. Wiley who is a 105 year old cowboy entrepreneur living and working in downtown Denver, about global warming, the newspaper scandal in Santa Barbara, riding a pregnant mare, monkeywrenching, Harriet Rochlin, Charlene Porter, Jack Loeffler, Carolyn Rackley, Jack Kerouac, Jorge Luis Borgas, melting tea kettles because I'm lost in thought while writing, Pramoedya Ananta Toer, Constantin Cavafy, Haruki Murakami, Isak Dineson, Sir Laurens van der Post, western novels, my evaporative sense of humility, and that goofy cacahuates story. I'm never at a loss for words. Can be a mixed blessing ... My new mantra is Less Talk, More Action. Ciao bella. |
